Entry Requirements:
- You have been working in UK education sectors (such as: recruitment agents, universities, schools etc.) for more than 3 years;
- A reference letter from an existing BUCA member is requested that can be send to contacts@buca.uk
(Please note: You need to meet the above two requirements. The board will perform the basic background checks to approve your membership)
Please note:
- The membership applies to individuals only and needs to be renewed annually. BUCA accepts payments from individuals or organizations. We welcome multiple members from the same organization but each membership fee applies to one member only. If members left the current employer or became unemployed during the year, his/her membership will remain unchanged till the end of the academic year, and the member should notify BUCA his/her updated employment status.
- The annual membership fee is £200.00, runs from the 1st September of each year till the 31st August of the following year. If the application is received in the middle of the academic year, membership fee is counted as follows:
- £100, if the remaining membership is less than 6 months
- £200, if the remaining membership is 6 months or more
For example: if your BUCA application/registration form is received on the 15th March, you will need to pay for April-May-June-July-August, which is 5 months in total, you will be charged £100; If your application is received on the 1st March, you will need to pay for March-April-May-June-July-August 2020 which is 6 months in total and you will be charged £200.
