The British Universities China Association (BUCA) brings together international education practitioners and senior leaders from the UK higher education institutions.

Our mission is to support professionals working to advance international education between the UK and China across students recruitment, partnership and the students centred eco system.

At BUCA, we create space for meaningful dialogue between international education professionals, institutional partners, and sector organisations. We aim to foster collaboration, promote best practice, and shape effective China market development strategies.

Our committee is committed to maintaining senior-level engagement with government agencies, universities, and education-focused organisations across both countries. Through these efforts, BUCA serves as a strategic platform for knowledge-sharing, advocacy, and professional support for all those involved in UK–China educational cooperation.
